A damage of approx. 1,500 euros was caused after a theft at a construction site on Osnabrücker Straße, after previously unknown perpetrators stole several liters of diesel fuel in addition to a vehicle battery. The crime scene is a construction site for water restoration, where several construction machines were parked.

From Friday evening (12 July) until early Monday morning (15 July) at around 7.30 a.m., locking elements of the fencing around the construction equipment were broken open in order to access the equipment. The tank caps on two Kupota dumpers were broken open and several liters of diesel were pumped out. The strangers removed the battery from a Kupota excavator and also stole several liters of fuel. The criminal investigation department has begun analyzing video footage and is looking for further witnesses.
