On Thursday morning (11 July) at around 8.00 a.m., the owner of a garden shed on Franz-Werfel-Straße noticed that unknown persons had broken into the shed the night before, which he had properly locked at around 8.00 p.m. that evening. There were several gardening tools in the hut, of which the perpetrators took a hedge trimmer and a cordless screwdriver with the corresponding accessories (batteries/charger). To get to the garden shed, the strangers entered the property through a garden gate and made their way through the garden area to the rear of the detached house. There they broke open the garden shed and stole the equipment. They then fled in an unknown direction. The criminal investigation department has started the investigation and is looking for further witnesses who can provide information about the break-in.
