Mercedes stolen

(jd) At around 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday morning (20.11.), a man from Herford noticed that his Mercedes was missing. The man had parked and locked the car in his carport on Meierstraße the previous evening. The Mercedes CLS does not have a keyless go system and the vehicle keys are still with the owner. How the unknown perpetrator or perpetrators managed to steal the vehicle unnoticed from the property on Meierstraße is still under investigation. The Herford police are asking any witnesses who can provide information on the whereabouts of the car with the license plate HF-IT 999 or who observed anything conspicuous between 3.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday to call 05221/8880.
